Playhead in source monitor never on the first frame? (CC 2017)

Whenever I import footage in my project and open it in the Source monitor, the playhead is never at the first frame but in a seemingly random position (see screencap). It wasn't happening before. How do I fix this issue?

If you open the for the first time in list view the playhead is at 0.

If you open from icon view you are setting the playhead by hovering.

If opening from timeline the playhead is at the same spot as in the timeline.

My footage was indeed set as Icon View with Hover Scrub on. Deactivating it by pressing Shift+H got rid of the problem. Thanks!
