Hi,
I have been working on a documentary for over a year. I have exported it numerous times for feedback and have never had any issues doing so. I did some final tweaks and colour grading and now the project will not export.
It seems to have issues with the warp stabilizer, which I have often used heavily at the beginning of the project. I usually nest, then stabilize but I thought this maybe the issue so I took it out of the nests. This also doesn't work. The program has also started asking me to force quit programs to free up space which it never used to do. It currently says Premier is using up 55 GB (sometimes as high as 80 GB) and media encoder is using 30 GB.
It also has a black frame that appears over a photo and will not export this frame. I've tested and can export up to it and around it. I managed to get around this problem by deleting the photo, copying everything to a new sequence and then adding it back in. This section is now working but I don't know why it happened in the first place.
I noticed the 2025 versions of all my Adobe software had auto-downloaded. I deleted this to clear up space but there is also over 300gb free on my computer so I don't believe it's a problem of space.
I also did do some colour grading with colour correct on the same day but certain sections export fine with this plug in on so I don't believe it would be this either.
Speaking with someone at adobe they asked me to change export settings, take stabiliser off and put it back on, put the files back inside nests and when none of this worked they disconnected from the chat without warning. I don't know what else to try and I feel like I'm on my last legs with Adobe.
These are all new problems that started last Saturday and as mentioned, this is something I have exported numerous times with no issue until last Saturday (19/10/24).
Would love any advice as I don't want to start recreating the project in Da Vinci.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Summary:
Warp stabilizer stops files from exporting, in or out of nests.
A random black frame appeared and stopped the export of this section.
Premier pro and media encoder seem to be taking up more space than ever before (premier up to 80gb).
Thank you

Have you tried exporting both with Media Encoder and direct export from Premiere Pro?
Have you tried unchecking Hardware Encoding in the export settings?
Have you tried exporting to a different drive?
Try creating a new project and import the old on into it.

Hi @Peru Bob
I've tried exporting with both media encoder and directly from premier pro, with different export settings and with hardware encoding unchecked. I was initially exporting to my harddrive but because that was filling up I've switched to the desktop which had a couple hundred gigs of free space.
I haven't tried a systems restore. How do I go about doing that?
Will I loose anything if I do?
I've also

System Restore is for Windows.
The Mac equivalent is Time Machine.
I'm a Windows user, and not a Mac user, so I'm not familiar with Time Machine.

Try System Restore to a time before that?
