I purchased premier pro for a class and have two "unsupported video driver" alerts. I am not tech savvy and having issues updating the Intel and NVIDIA drivers. Is anyone able to assist?
...but my understanding is that you should use the Studio drivers, NOT the game drivers. Averdahl, am I wrong?

There is no Studio Drive available for the GTX 970M, only Game Ready Driver. It´s an ancient card. 🙂
Problem is that there are no Studio drivers at all for Maxwell and earlier generation GeForce GPUs. The GTX 970m is a Maxwell GPU, based on a cut-down GM204 chip that is also used (with more shaders enabled) in the desktop GTX 980 and GTX 970.
In other words, the GTX 970m is too old to use the Studio Drivers. Therefore, only the Game Ready Drivers are available for the GeForce 900 and earlier series GPUs.

Latest Nvidia driver can be downloaded here: NVIDIA DRIVERS GeForce Game Ready Driver WHQL Download the file by clicking the Download button, double click on it when downloaded and follow the instructions to install it.
Latest Intel drive can be downloaded here. Use Method 1: How to Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10
The computer is very low spec, so i hope the new drivers fix the issue.

Look like you use old pc/laptop, may be 2013 release laptop.
You'd better upgrade your hardware. But, if not, you still can use premiere pro , just click continue and PP will still work.

I understand your nervousness, but Premiere is a professional video editing application and really requires some effort to get things to work properly. One would hope your school would provide some support. But if not, we're here to help.
One thing, in Averdahl's post he's linked you to the nvidia game ready drivers. Averdahl is a dependable contributor here, but my understanding is that you should use the Studio drivers, NOT the game drivers. Averdahl, am I wrong? Not being snarky, just trying to confirm this...

Here's why you couldn't install (the EXE version of) the Intel driver on your laptop:
Unfortunately, you are out of luck there as Asus has not updated its Intel driver for your particular laptop model in more than five-and-a-half years. In fact, the latest available driver from the Asus Web site is from way back in February 2016!
There is only one fix for this:
Do not download the EXE version of the generic Intel driver to update your laptop's graphics driver. Download the ZIP version of that driver instead. Extract the ZIP file into a folder that you can easily identify (i.e. name or rename the new folder as "New Intel Driver"). Then, you will need to go into the Windows Device Manager to install the new driver. Navigate to "Display adapters > Intel HD Graphics 530," and then right-click on that and then click on "Update drivers." Then click "Browse my computer for drivers," then click on the "Browse" button in the resulting window. Go to "Downloads > {your new driver folder}," then click OK. Now install the driver. Click on the entry for the new driver (the list of compatible drivers should now list both your currently installed driver and the new driver).
