I get this error message when I try to boot PPro 2024 and Media Encoder:
"You can’t open the application “Adobe Premiere Pro 2024.app” because this application is not supported on this Mac."
Just migrated from Previous MacBook Pro running Sonoma 14.5
It does run Lightroom Classic.
What is going on? Did I make a big mstake in "upgrading" to Sequoia?

Thanks. I’ll try it tomorrow and let you know. I’m thinking I may have to roll the OS back to Sedona 14.5 if that’s possible.

Might want to use a different browser to download Premiere.

PP was installed on previous 2019 MacBook Pro and migrated peer to peer.

Thanks Kevin. Really regretting breaking my own commandment regarding OS upgrades and waiting at least 90 days. I’ll look at the versions of PP, Media Encoder, Audition, etc., that are running on the “old” 2019 MacBook Pro, but they are all pretty much up to date. Lightroom Classic runs on the new machine.
Luckily I have kept that machine intact, so I can (hopefully) roll back Sequoia to Sedona 14.5 and re-migrate from old machine if necessary.

Migration of Macs doesn't work for Adobe apps.
You need to install the CC App and then install your Adobe apps from there.
Use the Cleaner Tool and then do a proper installation:

Based on your steps, I still cannot open Premiere Pro 2024. It continues to show the message: “You can’t open the application ‘Adobe Premiere Pro 2024.app’ because this application is not supported on this Mac.” I’m using a MacBook Pro M3 Max running Sonoma 14.5.

There have been issues with Sequoia across all video post apps, Resolve, Nuke, whatever. I see a lot of people recommending reverting to the previous OS until Apple releases a usable version of Sequoia.

OK, great success! Got it to work! Here’s what I did:
Tried to boot Adobe Creative Cloud. Got an error message saying Rosetta (never heard of it) needed to be installed. Allowed this.
Creative Cloud then booted. Went to the Apps page and had it update all relevant apps (PP, ME, AU, etc.)
This worked.
Notes: All of the apps that wouldn’t run before were the latest versions. Didn’t matter, they had to go through the “update” process. Thanks to MyerPJ for the list of Sequoia compatibility problems!
I didn’t want to go through the complex and convoluted process of using CC “Cleaner” suggested by one of the community members. “Damnit Jim! I’m an editor, not a code monkey!” 😊
This the second time I have migrated Adobe apps peer to peer, and the first time there has been a problem.
Note to self: Never, Never, Ever upgrade while in the middle of a project, and Always, Always, Always wait at least 90 days after launch before updating the OS, no matter what enticing stories Apple tells you. We don’t get paid to be Beta testers for Apple, (unless we do).
Thank you to everyone who helped on this. Much appreciated!
Best to all.

That was what I was definitley contemplating as my next step but fortunately the process outlined below (Getting Creative Cloud to run and then letting it update all the apps) worked for me. I have my previous laptop and was going to re-migrate once the new one was rolled back to Sonoma 14.5.
