See the other thread.
In addition to a program problem, the burner may also have been captured by another program. As suggested, build to a folder or image, and be sure that when you burn with another program, it is set to burn a Blu-ray disc.

It's definitely a Blu-ray burner, yes?
I ask as a friend once had this and it turned out his Optical drive would read Blu-ray (there is no "e" in Blu) but would only burn to DVD.....

Yes! It's very stupid but the solution was to create an image in encore put it to a folder somewhere then I used express burner and burned it to the Blu-ray and the Blu-ray burner read perfectly idk why encore couldn't probably because it's so out of date. To be honest Adobe needs to get this together and find a way to help us create DVD/Blu-ray not everything should be online and that format is so unreliable because you depend on everyone having proper streaming it's lame.

Read reply #16 for why Encore was ended https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2454744
Adobe has not created an Encore replacement, and I don't think that will happen now

TMPGEnc Authoring Works 6 has a free trial. It is similar to Encore CS6. Adobe will never update Encore. I think that most of the people that use this website would agree that the demand for DVD's or Blu-ray's is slowly disappearing.
