I must be living in the future, because today I updated Premiere on another computer, and instead of getting 2015.3 I got 2015.4...
But I don't know if this is a bug or if someone at Adobe is fooling around... because the version is still 10.4.0 (which is 2015.3) and it installed itself in a folder called 2015.3.
Out of the 5 billion pages on the internet, there are zero mentions of Premiere 2015.4, so I couldn't find what its new features and bug fixes should be, particularly since it seems to be a nonexistent version.
You downloaded the latest release which is: 2015.4.
Its an update, all kind of bugfixes, for 2015.3.

We use 2015.4 in class, but at home, I have Adobe Creative Cloud with the 2015.3 installed. I brought my laptop in and both my professor and I looked thru previous versions/updates for the 2015.4, (so that I can use it at home) for some reason, when we updated it, it updated to the same version of 2015.3. Is there another way to find the 2015.4 version to update to at home?

They did such a good job of making the 10.x builds a puzzlement.
2015.0/1/2/3 were 9.x builds.
2015.3/4 were the two 10.x builds. "2015.3" was the name for the two builds of that series ... like in the past, we had CC, then CC2014, right?
So ... check the "Help/About" dialog box. If it updated to 2015.4, you'll see it there ... but at the top of the menu bar, it will still show as "2015.3".
Then, with the first 11.x build, they went back to naming for a specific year ... this time, 2017.
Clear as mud?
