After the Premiere v22.0 update the application crashes when using command-m to export a sequence.
When reopening the app after the crash and doing the shortcut again, it works for some reason.
Problem reoccurs after computer is shut down and rebooted.
More so reporting a bug than finding a solution.

Can you please share your system info? Like OS and version, CPU, RAM, GPU vRAM, Pr version? Thanks. Also a screen grab of your issue will be helpful.
Have you tried resetting the prefs and cache?

I'm having the same problem. Cleared cache, original premiere, setup in screenshot.
Please do something about it. It happened after 22 update. It's randomly usable

The work around I found was open Media Encoder, import PR project, select the timeline. I am reverting to the last version for a little bit now that I've delivered.

Same issue here! I just updated to v22 today.
CMD + M and File > Export crashes PR

I cleared my media cache.
I need this fixed ASAP. I have deadlines to meet and clients waiting.

Same is happening here. After updagting the 22 about 2 days ago.
Even after restarting Premiere Pro 22, the bug persists.
Although, I'm able to export from the top menu

revert to previous version. Never smart to update when you're facing deadlines... and always make sure not to delete previous version and test the update before diving in. Updates often require greater system attributes... 16 gigs RAM is not ideal particularly if you working with 4K material.
You might try smart rendering to get you over the hump.

The project was ended to me from the DIT as a 22.0 project. I had to upgrade.

Try opening the updated version of Media Encoder as a stand alone application first, then open Pr. Try your export again.

Really, like WTF are We talking about?
It's the most basic option of an editing program, and I have to open one program, import something, then stand up do 3 turn left, 2 turns rights press the button and pray not to crash.
Is it Cyberpunk? You're turning cd projekt?
this is hilarious.

You only sometimes have to do that after an update, and then only once.
Having to do it every time would be ridiculous, you're right.
