I'm having an issue, right after i start a project I can import video start editing make a couple sequence cuts and then Blue Screen. My computer is an I7 7700k OC'd to 5.02

GTX 980ti latest driver

32GB Gskill ram

I have a two ssd's set in RAID 0

OS,application and storage are on this drive.

This is very frustrating.. I've used adobe in the past cs5 mostly so would love to keep using it.

Blue screen can be an OC symptom. What temps are you running?

Is this a recent install, or a recent occurrence from a well-used install?

And ... is this in one project, or in any project?

Thanks for your reply.

Recent install I've not been able to get it to work.

I've tried installing older versions but all versions same result blue screen.

All projects same result blue screen.

the video was either taken by a go pro or a mavic all in 4k.

Thanks for you reply Shooter

Do you think this is the reason Premiere is crashing?

What do you recommend. NO Over Clock? Store on another drive?

Premiere is the only application i have issues with so any help will be appreciated.

sorry about above,

43 to 83 under load. again all other applications work great and I can game on for hours no issues. I'll try and disable the OC (wanted to keep it overclocked ) see if it helps.

I set my Mobo to optimized defaults in the Bios. Now i have been editing for about an hour. I did not want it to be the Over Clock but it was.

Good to know. You may still be able to OC, just not as much.

I'm curious too: ask about this in the hardware forum:
