As the title states, i am running PrPro 2018 on windows 10 latest version, and my .3gp files are getting no audio. I have ran the files using vlc player and the sound is there but not in premiere. I have tried solutions other people have had for other file types having no audio, but to no results. I have also tried using numerous .3gp files and all of them get the same results. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Codec might not be support as you say they are old cellphone.
Convert audio with Handbrake or Audacity and try again.

Are these imports, or exports you're dealing with?

Hi Jesseg74528981,
I am assuming that you are not able to import audio with your 3GPs into Premiere Pro.
What is the source of these files and where exactly are they located?
Try these steps:
Let me know if that helps.
Thanks,

I have tried both of these solutions, once before having read them in the forums and did them once again, and no results. I have also read make the files offline, make them online again and confirm the original source location, but nothing. My source files are from old cell phones, and the files are located on two different hard drives, and neither drive imports sounds in the timeline, and i confirmed the sound is there with vlc player additionally. I am in need of putting together a family video and the sound is imperative. Any further help would be appreciated.

Hi Jesseg74528981,
Mobile phones often use Variable Frame Rate recording, which is not ideal/supported for use in Premiere Pro.
As suggested by Ann, run your footage through HandBrake software before importing and editing in Premiere Pro.
