I have been using Premiere Pro CC 2018 for a couple of months now. I had some problems with my computer so factory reset windows. I re-installed all of my adobe products. Lightroom and Photoshop work fine, but premiere crashes within 10 seconds of me moving around the timeline. It pops up with the report to adobe window asking if i want to send crash data back to adobe. No matter what I click it closes premiere. The application doesn't seem to have actually crashed though, it stutters for a second when the crash window pops up but continues to playback the timeline in the background with no problems.

I have tried re-installing creative cloud and premiere.

Removed cache files.

Created new projects but all have the same problem.

I am using a Dell XPS 15 9560 with these listed specs so I shouldn't be experiencing performance issues.

i7-7700hq

16gb ram

GTX 1050

512gb SSD

I'm thinking that the problem could be a driver issue but i'm not sure.

Any help would be great, thank you.

Hi Adam,

Some users have needed to try multiple graphics versions to resolve issues.

There have been a lot of changes on the Nvidia side.

Can you please copy and paste the crash reports and post them in this thread or feel free to send them to me via PM.

Happy to lend a hand here.

Hey adamw46270319!

Is everything all smoothed out? We'd be happy to find you an alternate solution if you're still experiencing issues.

Thanks!
