Hi all, since the last few updates to PP it's taken over 30 seconds to launch, whereas it used to just be seconds. I've got the M1 Max, 32GB ram, 32 core GPU and 2TB drive and it's incredibly slow. If I click the icon it just bounces up and down for 30-40 seconds and then the splash screen will show.
I've deleted and reinstalled and still the same issue, also tried clearing media cache and no change.
Does anyone know what could cause this and how to fix it?
Sorry! Have you tried resetting preferences at launch? Press Alt/Option on launch and see what happens. Note that by doing so, you will lose any unsaved settings.
