Very interesting, first I'm hearing of this.
Fully six years after BMD released the Pocket Cinema Camera, Adobe software still doesn't properly support the camera's CinemaDNG, which is Adobe's own format!
CinemaDNG – Adobe video & audio apps
My guess is you'll have to switch NLE's if you shoot with BRAW.

Speak up and hope Adobe recognizes this will help with customer retention.

It isn't a problem of lack of interest. They only have so many bodies working on things. I would like to see upper management give a wee bit more budget for staffing.
Adobe lives by metrics. So posting about such things on the bug/features report services sends it right to the collated list for upper managers. Please do so.

Guys -- we need support for this on Premiere Pro. If and when can we expect support for this? Blackmagic released a free and open SDK!!!

The best way to ask for a feature is to post it on the feature request uservoice for Premiere Pro: Premiere Pro: Hot (2498 ideas) – Adobe video & audio apps
You'll see that there are already 66 votes for the feature you're asking for Feel free to add your vote to help the Premiere developers know you want/need it.
Cheers,
Seb

I'm aware that everyone's asking for this, but if this is some "anti-Blackmagic" stunt to try to keep people using premiere instead of DaVinci, it's going to backfire.
This should've been talked out before release or at the very least DURING the release process.
If support isn't added soon, you will most definitely start losing Blackmagic camera owners to the DaVinci editing workflow if this isn't a thing in the near future. I already know some people who have switched, and from what I've heard, DaVinci has actually created quite the editing software in addition to an obviously badass color program.
Food for thought.

This is primarily a user to user forum.
You wanna communicate to the engineers, post in the UserVoice system. I'm on my phone or I'd add the link but you can see it on the Overview page of this forum.

I know there are lots of people who agree with you -- it's important to let Adobe product managers know. If everyone crushes this form with requests for BRAW, it will get Adobe's attention:
Feature Request/Bug Report Form
Since this is a community forum, and the wish form goes directly to Adobe, I highly recommend going there!

Thanks dudes!
My primary intent was to see, as Buck pointed out, if we can get some steam behind this, it's been wayyyyy too long with no real answer. At least that I've seen. I'm sure Adobe's heard enough about this already, but I'd be happy to post the same thing in the UserVoice system.

We no longer use wishform for feature requests, we use User Voice. The specific link for adding BMD RAW Support is here: Support Blackmagic RAW – Adobe video & audio apps
