Hi Matoos. Does the error occur as soon as you drop the clip into Premiere, or does it only happen as soon as you apply an edit on the timeline?

Could you provide some details about the type of clip?

This is a known issue. Update to 14.0.2

See if that helps if not use a mask from Opacity.
