Problem loading .aep file into Premiere

Hi everyone,

lately I have a problem with loading .aep into Premiere files. When I am opening premiere file with linked .aep composition it doesn't load and when I try to locate it it doesn't show anything. When I do try to import the .aep file the program freeze, doesn't respond and I have to shut it down. So simply I can't work with both Premiere and After Effects files. Can anybody explain to me where is the problem? Could it be somehow related to the fact that I have recently bought a new graphic card?

I have a couple thoughts.

First, create all the comps you want to use in a Premiere Pro project in a single AE project.  Don't try pulling in comps from different AE projects.

Next, use the Media Browser in Premiere Pro for import duties.  When you double click on an AE file in Media Browser, it will give you access to the comps from that AE project.

The first thing you should keep in mind is that both Premiere and After Effects must be of the same version.
