Problems importing BPAV folder into Premiere Pro CC

I've been given a BPAV folder on an external hard drive and I am having tremendous problems importing the clips from the BPAV folder into Premiere Pro CC.  I have been checking some of the past forums but I can't find  a concrete answer on how to import  the BPAV folder and I keep on getting errors

Navigate to the folder using the PrPro Media Browser panel, then select all and right-click Import.

You don't import the folder.  You use the Media Browser in Premiere Pro to dig down into that folder (not just to it, but into it) until you see the actual clips.
