"Serious Error" -- Keeps crashing (Please help)

Hi,
As I've been editing this video project I'm working on, Premiere keeps crashing very frequently with the error message, "Sorry, a serious error has occurred…" I saved very often and finally managed to finish editing.
The problem now is that I can't export. Each time I try, I get the message and it crashes. The deadline for this project is Monday—any help would be seriously appreciated!!
I'm working on a 2012 iMac on OSX High Sierra. 16gb Memory. NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2 GB.
Any ideas?

Thank you!

I'm getting the same issue, but fortunately I don't have the same deadline as you. For me it will happen even if I just leave Premiere open and do nothing. Theoretically Premiere should stay open until I shut the computer down, but if you give it enough time it ends up with this same error. I can only assume that it has something to do with a timed action, possibly trigged by auto-save or some other time based action the program takes on it's own. I do not believe it is caused by your export unless our errors are different. The fact that mine happens with nothing taking place leads me to believe its an automated bug for an occurrence that happens on it's own after a certain amount of time. It might also be something with the OS, where the OS does a task on its own and Premiere freaks out because of it.

Same thing is happening to me. I already contacted Adobe and they keep saying that the problem is not theirs. I've contacted NVidia and Microsoft as well. Microsoft gave me a patch and Premiere worked for a couple of days. But it has crashed again. I need help, URGENT HELP!!!
