Hi everyone

Just trying to figure out what's going on here. I'm simply trying to record a voice over on my version (13) of Premiere Pro, and leep coming up with this error. I've tried fiddling around with the settings, and tried googling this error, but existing threads have pointed me to solutions that don't quite work on my version of Pr.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the steps:

  1. On the track where you will be recording, right-click and choose Customize
  2. From the window that opens, drag and drop "Enable for recording" button [R]
  3. Enable this button
  4. Enable mic icon to start recording

You can also right-click and choose "Voice-over settings" to check if it's using your microphone

Hi Marer1976, thanks for your reply and your assistance. I have tried doing exactly what you've suggested, found the Customize window and tried dragging and dropping the R "Enable for recording" button, but when I close the customise window, the R Button disappears and nothing has changed. Even after I drag and drop it to the Track, and try clicking it, it does nothing. Still can't get it going.
