Re: Premiere Pro > Audio Remix tool not working

In Premiere Pro (latest Version) I'm tryin got shorten an audio clip using the "Remix Tool:"

When I bring the remix-icon over the timeline, the remix-icon has a red line through it and there's no funcionality for it. I'm not sure why Adobe does things like this without any information as to what's going on or why it's happening, but I don't like it.

Anyone happen to have any ideas as to why the Remix tool is not functioning for me.

Thank you, kindly.

Just to clarify, I'm dragging the remix-icon over the audio clip (not just the timeline) and the end of the clip and nothing works.

Click with the tool on the end of the clip first.

Grab end and drag to the left.

You need to slow down the movement of your mouse and point it exactly on the end of the clip

Change your track keyframes setting to the default setting of "clip keyframes"

OP's track is set to clip keyframes otherwise there would be a white line across the entire track

You can't apply Remix to a nested sequence. You'll need to add the music track to your Master sequence and apply Remix to that.
