Duplicate Frame Markers are not working correctly in 24.2.1. It shows 1 of the 2 duplicates. It only works as expected when you close and re-open the sequence.

Hi robobo69,
We're sorry about the poor experience. The issue with Duplicate Frame Markers on tracks with minimum height is now addressed in the latest Beta release (Pr v24.6). Refer to this link to learn more about the Creative Cloud Beta program.
Thanks,

Hi @edit58989569, @robobo69, and @Dash241854056l9o,
Thanks for the bug reports. Can you let the team know any further details? How do I write a bug report?
What kind of footage are you editing? @robobo69, are you on macOS too? What are your hardware and macOS specifics? Or, are you on Windows? Let us know.
I hope the team can help.
Thanks,
Kevin

Im currently on MAC OS 14.4.1 Premiere 24.4.1
Duplicate frames is not working correctly. it randomly works on a few clips but not on all of them.
even a simple drag copy of a clip does not show a duplicate frame.
The most annoying thing is that it will only show one of the clips that is a duplicate, so I have no idea where the other duplicate is on the timeline!
I run 6 systems on Mac and its the same for all of them.

Duplicate Frame Markers stopped working completely for me this morning.
End of last week, only showed up on the second of the duped clips, now not working at all.
Am I missing something?

Re: Duplicate Frame Markers, I realized that they become visible now but only when my V/A tracks are taller (not the shortest height). Before this week, they used to be visible when the tracks were any height. It's fairly annoying since i work with so many tracks that I like to keep them short.
I'm on a Mac Studio 2023, Apple M2 Max.

I'm running the latest beta version and this is happening to me. Some clips are shown as duplicates, but where they originally appear is NOT shown as a duplicate.
Then in a different scenario - when I have a clip that shows its a duplicate in both instances and I delete the duplicate, the markers dont go away on the original clip. Not sure if its not showing or isnt there or what but its all messed up.

Just coming back on this thread as I am having the exact same issues as above in Premiere 25.4.0. Duplicate frames are showing only on one of the duplicate clips on the timeline. I restarted the program and then it shows on both, but when I delete one of those 2 dupliactes the duplicate indicators are still showing on the one that is left(now not a duplicate). It's all very random and all over the place. @support, please could this be escaleted in the fixes list. Really sloppy and affects workflow, having to keep checking and guessing on something that should have been well fixed by now.

The issue fixed in this thread was duplicate frame markers not showing correctly when the minimum track height was used. There have been multiple issues with duplicate frame markers, with several fixed.
For example, I summarized in a post in an earlier thread, some of the issues in addition to the minimum track height:
One user thought it only happened when using Productions.
You get a "correct" no duplicate if you have more than one instance/copy of a clip in your Project panel.
And some users were confused by resetting preferences (which turns duplicate frame markers off).
Another user thought this affected clips that had been unlinked or decoupled from the audio tracks.
Duplicate frame markers may not appear in nested multicam clips (other nests?).
In any event, see if you can identify whether any of those issues make your problem more predictable, or at least rule some out. I think you're saying that the problem seems random. And that makes it difficult to track down.
My tests just now in 25.4.1 did not show any problems. But it is a light testing.
I think this other thread, which started after the fixes I know of, may be the better one to proceed with. It is shorter, and more focused on issues that have not been fixed.
