Export is not working from about 5 days ago. Export stopped early in proccess.

Nothing happen except the run time increasing and also increasing the remain time infinitely.

The problem is still occured though adjust the settings of export options.

I can also see the CPU share sharply down to low ratio(10~20) from the high ratio over 90%.

I did reinstall the program and also did whole system format. But nothing changed.

And I brought my laptop to the service center but the engineer couldn't find the problem from the hardware at all.

For last 10 months, it worked very well and there's no problem like this though my laptop has no GPU.

Plz help me.

Hi Hnw,

Which version of Premiere Pro and which OS you are on?

Are you getting any specific error while exporting your project?

Any third party plugins/effects used in your project?

Are you able to export your project keeping all of the effects disabled?

Please try exporting with different export settings & attach a screenshot of the current export settings.

Thanks,

Kulpreet Singh

I'm suddenly having the same problem. I'm using Premiere Pro 2017. This is my first time using 2017. I never had any problems with previous versions. I'm on Windows 7. No plugins to my knowledge. Only effects are cross-fades unless you count using "scale to frame size" on everything. Original video size is 1920x1080 and I've made the frame size 960x540. I've tried exporting (using the settings in the screenshot) with output at 960x540 (tried twice) and 720x480 (once). The furthest it's gotten when exporting is 34%. I don't think it's stopping at the same point each time. Premiere doesn't crash. No errors. It just stops and leaves me with an empty WMV.

Couple things I would do:

Don't export Interlaced.

Don't change the export resolution.

Don't export 2 pass.

Don't export to WMV, use H.264 instead.

I'm going to try all of those -- thanks. The only reason I tried changing the dimensions (that is what you mean by resolution?) was I thought maybe if I tried exporting it smaller.

Yes, resolution = dimensions.
