Hello guys,
I have a strange blue line with my pointer and when I roll the preview I'm skipping frames. I don't know how to remove it, can someone help me ?
That's normal. We all have it. It shows the frame you're looking at.
If scrubbing performance isn't satisfactory, try using Cineform proxies.

Whether or not you see it depends on the zoom level.

The blue line appears when you are zoomed in on the timeline. To zoom out on the the timeline, with the timeline selected, press the "-" (minus) key.
Understanding why you are dropping frames requires more information. What are the properties of your source footage? What are your sequence settings?
What kind of hardware are you running? What OS?
What version of Premiere Pro?

Hello,
I'm getting this long line all along my timeline and I can't see my footage. I have audio but the footage is not view able in the sequence. I've opened up several projects and they all have the same symptoms. It came out of nowhere. I dumped the cache and made new sequences. Nothing seems to help.
Please help!!!!

I know this is a really old issue but the way I fixed it was to changed the import settings. If you turned on HDV but the video imported is only dv then the horizontal blue line is added next to the diagonal line to show the minimum you can move the line.
