I would like to ask that "Essential Graphics" be returned to the workspace in Premiere Pro 2025. It was in Pro 2024 and on the right side of the Main View with Effects, Lumetri and other tabs. According to Kriti and what I found it, it was removed from the right side panel. With Kriti's help we were able to find what I've been using by adding Properties to the right side of the page. I use the centering of Text to the Program monitor (align and transform) and it disappeared from its normal position with the change of Pro 2024 to Pro 2025. I feel this is an important feature to have readily available as it was also easy to use - being able to center Text to the frame both vertically and horizontally and align the text to fit to the frame.

My same feeling!! Why move or get rid of the text/graphic align tab??

I've moved your post from the Photoshop forum to the Premiere Pro forum, where you are more likely to get a response.

The new Properties panel is confusing at first. Among other things, when you simply click on a mogrt or graphic on the timeline, you get a pretty empty Properties panel with just the "motion" properties of location/size et al.
But now, click on the Program monitor, on anything in the text or graphic item in that mogrt?
The Properties panel now has all the controls you're used to seeing in the EGP, including the layer stack up top.

Sorry, but can you please explain what is "MOGRT" and "EGP"? Thank you.

Me too. I only have transform and crop but no align

That indicates to me that you do not have the right thing selected in the program monitor.
It's very touchy, now that the Properties panel is "context aware". It only shows applicable controls for the specifically selected thing.

Thank you for adjusting the note. Appreciate it.

Yea ... the first time I saw the new panel in the beta, I went ... what the hay? ... took a couple minutes to really understand how to use it.
Once you do, it's ok. Some folks really LOVE it. I tolerate it. It can work. Ah well.

I don't have that. It's so frustrating. I don't have a align property on a simple text. It's so frustrating!!!!

You need to select the text first.
If you don't you won't have any properties showing.

Annoying for me, I've just bought premiere and now thinking of getting rid of it, makes it extremely hard for someone who has just started when you have to consistently change what you've learnt, I've been here for an hour just trying to align all my text to the center at once

None of these programs can or will stay the same forever. They have to change as the needs, wants, and capabilities of hardware and users constantly change.
Yes, it's annoying at times. But absolutely necessary.

For stills in the timeline use the guides in the Program Monitor.
Wrench > snap in Program Monitor.
