Unable to use transcription in Premier Pro 25

Hello Adobe!

We are having a strange issue where the video transcripts are not generating correctly. We are able to select the video/audio clip and it looks like it starts transcribing, but then seems to fail out without an error message or crashing Premiere. It looks like it just stops and goes back to the menu from before starting the transcription. We are on Premiere Pro 2025 and went through he uninstall/reinstall process and got the same results after reinstallation."

Good morning,

This is a new problem, though it appears to have started after updating from 2024 to 2025. This happens on previous projects as well as when starting new projects.

I can't find an option to contact adobe support to fix this issue. 

Also, I am far from the only person who is having this issue with Premier Pro. To say otherwise is a bit insulting.

For what it's worth, this just happened to me. I transcribe clips all the time, in fact, I transcribed one just before the one that failed.

Both source videos came from the same event. However, when I try to transcribe the second one, I see "creating auto transcription," the progress bar, and then it just stops. No error message or anything. I even tried opening the Progress panel and watching it, but it doesn't give a clue. It appears to be specific to this one video, since I opened a new project, and another video transcribes fine, but the problem source file does not.
