After creating a multicam sequence out of several nested sequences (by selecting them in the project window and right clicking and using the Create Multi Camera Source Sequence Dialogue), I now can't undo changes made within the individual nests. The changes I make, i.e. disabling a clip, do not show up in the History panel. See video attached -- changes applied to a clip that isn't in the nested sequence appear in the History panel, but when I make changes to the nested sequence that's used in the multicam sequence, they do not appear, and Ctrl + Z to undo does not work.
This issue has been discussed here with someone commenting that they're still experiencing the issue as of one week ago. So it's been an issue that people have faced since at least 2019 but it's my first time encountering it.
I've reset my preferences, uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere. I don't know what else to do to get this working properly.
Premiere Version: 24.5, I'm on Windows 11

Adding I have the same bug as well. All undo commands are actioned to the last commands put in in the master timeline, not the active nested timeline I am viewing. This also goes down into nests inside multicam nests.

Having this issue as well after updating to 24.6.1. Love paying exhorbitantly to be a beta tester for this company's software.

After a month+ long back and forth with the support team I was ultimately told that the History function is a "work in progress" and that they'd be unable to help me. Imagine that. Ctrl+Z being a work in progress.

I'm still having this similar issue in version 25.1. These are the unresolved bugs that make it hard to justify continuing to use Premiere over Resolve or another software.

Bumping as this issue is still present in 2025. Command does not function in nested sequences when they are part of a multicam.

I am still having this bug in the newest version, 25.5.0, in October of 2025, over a year later.
I just started using Multicam sequences recently and while they're proving to be very useful and speed up my work quite a bit, this is definitely ruining that some as it makes it really hard to edit at times!
@Kevin-Monahan Any update on this one getting fixed?
