Using Premiere Pro 14.6.0 Build 51.
Some projects have extremely slow render times (3 hours to render a 9 minute video)
Other projects render at an expected speed, slightly faster than real time.
These are all extremely simple projects, just a few cuts, and a few text overlays.
The projects that render quickly utilize my CPU and GPU to a respectable percentage, somewhat higher than 50%.
The slow projects barely click over the CPU, utilization about 3% average. The is no hardware bottleneck that I can see in the task manager, disk utilization is practically zero. Nothing else is competing for resources. It seems like my computer has gone out for a coffee break. Rebooting doesn't help.
If it would help, I can provide more information regarding the footage that is slow to render. It is video that is submitted to me, so I have no control over how it is initially captured. Nothing seems unusual about it, it is generally shot on someones phone.
