Video buffers after applying edits and color

so this is my first time using premiere pro and been following the editing tutorial on the website but when they toldd me to apply colour. which I did, everything changed, the videos start buffering and doesn't play seamlessly. please, what can I do to change this?

A very common media type used by Premiere Pro editors is H.264, which really isn't ideal for editing.  I recommend using Cineform proxies.
