Hello.
Let's see if someone can help me.

I have started to take my first steps in Premiere Pro and After Efects (I am coming from Final Cut Pro) but when I load a test of a rostocopy made in Premire I always get this error.

I have the two programs on both windows 10 and macos. I have tested each system separately and I always get the same error.

I have all the apps updated to the latest version.

Hola.

This is not the proper way to use dynamic linking between AE and PPro.

Just save the After Effects composition as an AEP file and import that AEP file into PPro.

That way, it should work.

How exactly are you getting this error? I'm guessing you are opening the Premiere project into After Effects. Can you try using the dedicated Import Premiere Project option?

Hello and thanks for your time.

It's the other way around. I create a small test clip in After Efects and save it as a Premiere Pro project.

So when I open the project in Premiere is when I get the error.
