Help! Whenever I load in my music it is removing the music and it's just the voice singing?
I'm a fairly new Premier Pro user. When I email the audio tracks to my friends it works in thier premier pro fine. It plays on my computer fine. But when I put it in Premier it removes everything but the lead vocal. I've tried multiple tracks, multiple projects. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks for reading this.

It seems to be a phase issue with the audio file.
When you place the audio file on a timeline, do the audio populate one audio track or two? It seems like it uses two audio tracks and that both of them are panned center instead of left&right. If the audio clip has a phase issue everything but the vocals cancel out each other if they are not panned correctly.

Hi Josh,
Can you send an example of what you're hearing? It would help to understand the issue better.
In the meantime, try this:
1. Select your clip in the timeline.
2. Go to Window > Essential Sound.
3. At the top of the Essential Sound Panel, click Clear Audio Type.
This will reset any audio type settings that might be affecting your clip.
Cheers,
Paul

Fix the audio file, if you leave it as is more trouble will arise later.

thank you @Averdahl and @PaulMurphy for the responses. It was a phase issue that I corrected by going into the Edit>Preferences>Audio Ouput. Thank you.
