'm starting to get fustrated cause i cant find any good documentation on how to create HTML 5 plug ins  for just a few videos starting me off. im using eclipse and the extension builder.  but i need to learn how to program things like import video, create sequence, place videos on timeline, adjust paramitors and add effects.

it surprised me to hear they switched to html plugins and im surprised there arent a ton of thing in extension manager.

Here's a better 'getting started' web page: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/creativesuite/articles/a-short-guide-to-HTML5-extensions.html#articlecontentAdobe_numberedheader

HuxtabelRex, the working sample panel I've provided does most of what you mention.

Eddie (and others), please write me directly and I'll give you the same; b b b at adobe dot com

this is a link to where i found the intitial link.  while i havent gotten extensive documentation ive gotten help and what ive needed from people through this board.  my guess is there still improving and working the kinks out before putting it in official documentation so before everything gets layed in stone,  so to speak.

Ah, as I suspected, these types of plug-ins are limited to scriptable functionality within the host app.

I'm not sure why you find it surprising, the industry trend is toward user interfaces driven by markup langauge.

I'm more of a filter and transition plug-in developer, so this isn't for me.
