A keyboard shortcut to ONLY delete transitions

Currently, the only way to delete transitions is to zoom in and manually, carefully select them, one at a time, while holding SHIFT, and then pressing delete.
It would be far easier to just be able to select clips normally, and then hit one key that only deletes the transitions on those clips, while leaving everything else intact.
Technically, the Palette Gear does have this feature (they put it in at my request) but that's the only way to get it, currently.

This is item #5 in my spreadsheet

Yes! I'd love to be able to select a handful of clips and delete all the transitions from them at one time. Heck, even select everything in a timeline and delete all the transitions at once.

here's a workaround to remove transitions if you have the clips adjacent to each other:

Hey everyone.

I've written a script to add this feature, you can download it here - https://www.dropbox.com/s/z9ayqdxfuy5v2x8/remove%20transitions.jsx?dl=0

It will remove all transitions on selected clips

you can use it with something like the JSX Launcher extension https://exchange.adobe.com/creativecloud.details.12096.jsx-launcher.html

Greetings Fellow editors,

I developed new extension: EXCALIBUR. It has "Remove Transitions" command. It allows to remove transitions from selected clips or from whole sequence.
And you can assign shortcut to this command.

But it does much more than that, learn more here:
