Yeah, I just spend half an hour on improving my audio track and wanted to implement it in another project - no way to do it. And no way to copy the values from track to single media effects.
"Effects and sends" menu is very cool, but not having a preset or at least copy/paste option there... Huge oversight.

Standardize effects and presets with Audition. Offer a UI for both track & clip effects and the ability to easily save presets of either one. The functionality is there, just in another program. It would be great to port these features over for those in a hurry 🙂

Get it together Adobe. How is this not a thing? We all pay for a professional editing software, make it so.

Hi all, I wanted to show you the progress we have made here. We have implemented copy and paste between tracks, and across sequences.
In the latest beta (as of Monday morning) you can right click on a track, and copy the entire contents of the effects inserts area. The entire rack will be copied. When you paste, the entire rack will be replaced with the paste, removing and existing effects. To reiterate: Pasting will completely replace the existing effects on a track.

This should work between any two types of tracks, regardless of channelization, or sample rate. And also between different sequences.

There is no keyboard shortcuts available for this, as there is no track selection model in Premiere, we understand that limitation.

This is also incremental work toward possibly creating effects rack presets. We work incrementally, building on the work that came before. There has been (lots really) deep, fundamental work to get to this point and we will start to see some of the benefits of this work moving forward.

Did this still not come up during the covid update? Was loving mixing inside of primer and not having to jump to pro tools any more.....but if you can't save a channel strip...or a bank or something.....makes trying to use this program from start to finish very difficult.

Hey guys of Adobe 🙂 , Happy new year. I see you implemented copy/paste track effects. Which is great, but the possibility to save a track effect would be perfect. We can use this for voice recordings.

In my work I create a lot of different video content that all use the same audio equipment, signal path, and settings. I spend a lot of time recreating the same effects stack every time I start a new project. It would be so useful to have the ability to save this as a preset.

Since I'm still newish to sound editing in PP, I was wondering if there might be a way to reuse my settings (voice over, same equipment, same voice, same environment) for the future.
Before I applied the Google Foo, deep down I knew that this would likely not be possible, that it would be a long standing feature request and that the last official reply would be more than one year old.

And here we are! Watching shiny bells and whistles stream by while waiting for the moronically obvious. Shouts to the Marketing and PR poeple!

I use Audio Track Mixer effects all the time, and would LOVE to be able to either save an audio effect preset within the effect itself (the drop-down menu of effects)

OR

Be able to drag and drop effects presets from the Effects Panel into the ATM slots.

Either of these would solve the underlying issue that we can't save unique effects presets for the Audio Track Mixer.

For anyone with a background in any DAW, this workflow just works well without the need for a ton of copy/paste. Cuts down on overall wasted time in the workflow.

This is something I wish I had in every video that I make - I'm strongly considering other video editing programs that better handle my own project defaults.

For a minute I thought I was going crazy.
https://larryjordan.com/articles/automatically-improve-your-audio-levels/

Larry Jordon tut shows "right click" save. That's for the clip, okay not the track stack.

I guess they want us to round trip the audio to Audition still or another DAW.

only via the essential sound window, which is only per audio clip, not channel on the mixer. Plus, lets say I just want a limiter, you can't just go grab a limiter you have to choose a preset and then edit everything etc. So.... I mean... you're not correct =/

re: copy and paste track effects. This is great to know!

The reason I need presets is that we are often finishing 10s or 100s of versions which need different audio requirements etc. And going back into Audition and working there, its a little disconcerting to have things so spread out when you're conforming particularly audio effects, which arent' as easy to view as say graphics from AE. For instance, a -2 hard limiter than it is made in Audition isn't telegraphing in Premiere, but at least with AE I can see that the font is right etc.

also, if you bring the entire sequence in Audition and work there, you still have to output a mix file and then bring it into Premiere. That's great when you have time, but I've got 50 videos that need a few different custom limiters on them.

Please! I'm not a programmer, but it seems like it should be relatively easy to bring this ability to the AUDIO TRACK MIXER (not audio clips). It's all well and good when you add cutting-edge capabilities, but sometimes, basic functionality like this and functionality are what most people are looking for.

Erm...that should read:

"...basic functionality like this and stability are what most people are looking for."
