The Fast Color Correction tool was amazing and really fast to use, and I had all my preset color correction tools with it. I'm having a hard time even getting 10% close to the results I used to have with Fast Color Correction, even with Lumetri. I hope Adobe brings it back.

What sort of media do you work with? What was easier in FCC?

I'm asking because we all work differently, and prefer different tools or approaches. Hearing why X works better than Y for any of us is very useful.

I do animation. This is my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQF0f62JXnfFSxKDmN8SDUg
I actually really liked the simple, fast way it worked, and the way it created clean contrasts. Since the show is in space and it is animated, a lot of the effects like the sunlight were done created round, feathered masks of fast color correction. The Input and Output levels were excellent to get this space-like, oversaturated feeling to sunlight.

Thanks for the reply, yea, that's interesting stuff there. And I can see that as you were adding this basically as an effect here and there, the way FCC worked as a quick drag/drop effect was useful. Lumetri is in so many ways a better total tool, but ... that quick light usage you did is not something Lumetri does as easily.

You can of course work it as an effect, drag/drop to the clip or ECP, then use the ECP controls of it for quick access to the masking tools and specific Lumetri tools. Probably would be better for you than using the Lumetri panel.
