Move Captions to the bottom of the screen

It would be useful to be able to move the captions all the way to the bottom of the screen.

Wow, I just upgraded and this is now unusable for me as I need to lower captions to be under L3s and now I can't.

Adding to the chorus. I just updated to Premiere 2021 and I'm more than annoyed that I can't put the captions all the way at the bottom of the screen. Web content comes in all shapes and sizes, this is unacceptable. I now have to create a work around to solve this until it's updated. Please don't make our lives harder.

Please give an update for when this will be fixed.

I won't repeat all the current justifications, only that I support removing the restriction. Most professionals know when their titles need to be within safe margins and can determine where those are on their own.

Please remove the restrictions.. Here is a quick overview graphic I made up of "why".
(P.S.. For creatives, there should never, EVER be restrictions, that kills creativity. Guides, etc., to stay "in the rules" when needed are fine, but finite restrictions are a big no no in design.)

Francis, Thank you for explaining the reason behind this restriction.
Even though there are only 20 or so comments in this thread, the "flavor" or the responses seems clear. This restriction should be removed. It seems safe to assume that all of us who use the captions feature would like this removed, even those who have not seen this thread. I was disappointed that today's update did not correct this even though a listed feature update was "Captions workflow refinements".

Perhaps remove and have a guide margin?

The other issue is alignment. If you position subtitles at the bottom, when you have subs that are 1 line rather than 2 lines, they aren't centered properly. Ideally I'd use the central alignment and then position down the page, but it won't allow me to move it that far.

This sort of thing should definitely be optional, give the freedom to position it with no limits as the default, but have the option to set the restriction as a guideline if the user wishes (And give options for what percentage to make the safe margins too, possibly?)

I would also love to be use all the editing tools to be also used for CC. As of now just a few will work.

This needs to change. Very unprofessional to impose this limitation without any further explanation.

If it was related to compatibility with other software that was necessary to have the captions function properly, I would understand - it would not be Adobe's decision. But this is just embarrassing.
