move clip markers to sequence and vice versa

It'd be helpful to be able to move clip markers to other clips in the same sequence (at the same timecode within the sequence), or to turn them into sequence markers, and vice versa. Between an editor and an Assistant Editor (AE), it is common for the AE to need to move markers the editor added to a clip or sequence to another clip/video track, or move sequence markers to clips, etc.

There was a post about this in 2019:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/can-you-copy-clip-markers-and-make-them-into...

Also, is it possible to export sequence markers?

Yes, it would be amazing to be able to select markers and drag and drop them from a Clip to a Timeline or from a Timelie to a Clip.  Copy and paste would be fine as well.

Yes, we can export Sequence Markers.  When doing so, be sure to have important information in the Comments for the Marker (it can be as simple as the Marker Name or as detailed as needed).  Select the Timeline panel or Program panel and then choose File > Export > Markers.  In the Export Markers dialog box, choose the File Type

We can also export Clip Markers by using File > Export > Markers from the Source panel.

Another great feature request would be to import marker lists back into a Premiere Pro project as Timeline Markers or Clip Markers.

When I go to the Timeline Panel and go to File / Export, Markers is greyed out. Same when I go to the Project Panel, select the sequence, then go to File / Export.

Be sure to have the Timeline panel selected and that you have markers in that sequence or clips somewhere.

It looks like there's a plugin to move timeline markers onto the clips:
