Premiere Pro 2019 // Cant scroll through LUTs

Participant ,

Hi,

as the title says: I cant cycle through the different LUTs.

However, the default LUTs from Adobe cycle through, but NOT my own added LUTs. I added them through this path:

Program Files\Adobe\Common\LUTs\Technical

Program Files\Adobe\Common\LUTs\Creative

When I choose the Adobe preinstalled LUTs, it cycles through till the first user added LUT and jumps to "Search"

This wasnt the case with Premiere 2018. Is there a fix?

Regards

Let me ask the team. Happy to advocate for this issue, either way.

So, is there a Feature Request that we can upvote? It was suggested by the employees of Adobe several times across several posts. Am I just not finding it? I don't see it in the search results and I don't see any links in any of the posts for this. We wonder why these things get no traction, it's very likely because no one can properly find the right post. This likely ties back to the fact that the search functionality is inherently bad. When I search for "Scrollable Luts" as Kevin had suggested previously, I am met with endless Discussion posts, but not Ideas/Feature Requests/Bugs. I cannot search for these specifically either. I can only look at the top level with no text entered. Thus, I am digging in a haystack for a needle with no context.
This is a separate issue, but please add a way to actually search for things and then be able to filter based on how those posts are tagged. I see no way to filter results based on the "Conversation Type"
You all ask that we search for these things ahead of time, and then upvote the one with the most traction, but the fact of the matter is that is very very difficult to do given the platform. For a standard user, dang near impossible.

Not being able to scroll through LUTs has been a killer, and we have been dealing with it since 2019. It should not be that hard to revert functionality that once existed. Maybe if we can get enough weight behind it, we may get it back.

Some side notes for anyone coming across this forum that didn't find an answer:
If I click on the arrows I can stay in my place, but as soon as I disable the Creative look to compare to the OG, it starts back at the top.
Even the comparison view doesn't help with this.

Also, if you stop scrolling on the dropdown menu, it chooses the look, which throws the user back up to the top. Not sure if that was explicitly called out before.

Bad Workaround: Use the arrows, limit the number of loaded LUTs, and do NOT disable the creative look to compare to the original. Then you can click through and preview as needed. But good luck trying to compare multiple LUTs.

Use a notepad, take notes on which ones you like. Then come back to them and compare just those ones.
Bonus: Take screen shots for easier comparison.

Adobe - This type of workaround shouldn't be needed. Please assist us with what we are asking. Provide us the bug / feature / idea request and, I guess, just let us yell into the ether collectively.

The Ask:

- Can you please provide a link to the feature request that was submitted and we should all be directed to?

- Can you please submit feedback to the engineers in charge of your KM search so that they may add the feature to search/filter based on Conversation type?
