Retain Recent Projects on Home Screen if external drives are non connected

Currently if you have projects on external drives and you launch PP then any of those projects will be removed from the list of Recent Projects that are shown on the Home screen:

This is really annoying when all your projects are dotted across various drives and so its easily to launch PP and not have the right drive attached. Now you have to hunt around for the project you were last working on.

Surely it would be better to:

• keep the same list and flag those projects which are not accessible
• show the path and/or drive that they were previously found on
• When a hard drive gets plugged in, update the list.
• Have a way to remove items individually from the list 

I know this isn't some sex cool new AI feature but its just a little bit of polish that has frustrated me repeatedly for years and I love to see stuff like this improved.
