select the clip in the timeline and go to effects controls and you should see any effects that have been applied. You can delete them in the effects controls or you can control click on the clip in the timeline and choose remove attributes and you should see any effects that are applied...

Red crosses usually mean some sort of plugin in (ended) trial mode.
Check the Effect Controls.

I see the Effects on the Menu bar but how to i check to see if any Ad-Ins have expired? Thanks

The only Ad-in that I can thinbk of is Magic Bullet from Red Giant. I think I have deleted that ad-in but the "red cross" is still there.

I think the Magic Bullet is a Colorista IV AdIn
