Just updated , complete nightmare !
Nothing works, hangs, crashes !
Good news , all is ok now, ten mins after update
Perhaps the update was still being written to my PC although it said update was completed , everything was slow and not working ?
Anyway all is good , thanks

A great thing for EVERYONE to know is anytime you're going to start an update, make sure ALL cache/media cache database files are deleted first!
When you first launch an update/new version, DON'T open a project file ... go to the Edit/Preferences/Media Cache tab, to the Remove Cache option, and click 'Delete cache' button.
Wait for it to do so, then open a project. That fixes many of this type of issue before it happens.

Glad it's working for charlesm39111584
It does not work for me. (see my post below) Are there any fixes coming? I've moved back to previous release, which works fine. Faulty version is 14.3.1 (not 14.1.3 as title to this thread says)
