Isr Premiere Pro is a stand alone app that doesn't need, or automatically have, a connection to the internet or social media?

Like all the "creative cloud" apps, Premiere Pro needs the CC Desktop app on the machine to register the license to run. That app needs a connection to the internet every 60-90 days to maintain it's willingness to allow any CC app to operate.

It has no connection to social media.

Neil,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.  Please forgive my lack of knowlegde in this space.  When you say "destop app", do you mean it has to be loaded on our destop alone with an iPhone, or can it just be on the iPhone?  If just on the iPhone, you're saying that it would need to connect to the internet every 60-90 days, but that could be through a wi-fi connection, correct?  And it would just automatically connect when it needs to?  As for the social media, there would only be the ability to post to social media proactively by having an account and logging into it through the app?

Thanks for your time!

All the Creative Cloud apps are installed by and I guess you could say "authorized" to run by the Creative Cloud desktop app. You install that app, then from that install any other apps.

But you need to sign in to a paid Adobe CC account in the CC app before it allows any program to run. After that, you can be 'offline' for somewhere between 60-90 days before you have to log in again by having the computer/device on the internet for it to 'phone home' to Adobe to check that your license is still valid.
