Hi

I own a 16" 2019 Macbook Pro.

I am now running Big Sur. There is no way to run Premiere Pro 2020.

Everytime I try to lauch it the app just crashes.

Premiere Pro 2019 seems to work fine.

Hi PaoloGr,

That's not ideal, sorry about that. Could you share the following details so that we can troubleshoot the issue properly:

  • What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM)?
  • Do you get any error messages or crash reports?
  • Was it working fine before updating to Big Sur?

We're here to help, just need more info.

Thanks,

Nishu

Macbook Pro 16" 2019

2.4 ghz i9 8 Core

64Gb Ram

AMD Radeon Pro 5500M

No messages, simply crashes. It asks to send the report to Adobe sometimes. I did all the time I got that message.

No, even in the previous OS the same thing

Premiere Pro 2019 works though.

Thanks

Try launching Pr from a shortcut on the dock or in launchpad. As soon as you double-click the shortcut, hold down the Option + Shift keys until you see the main program window. This will reset your preferences and clear the plugin cache. If Pr launches successfully, create a new project. If Pr still hasn't crashed, import your problem project into the new one you just created.
