Exactly as stated. The program Monitor shows small thumbnails during SLIP! Makes previewing kind of impossible. See the screenshot. I'm using PP 14.7, RTX 2080 with the last Studio Driver release. Haven't had any problems like this before. The clips are Black Magic Raw 6.5k. I have them on a 2048x1152 (2k 16x9) timeline.

PAF,

First I've seen that. I"m slipping like a champ on standard .mp4 footage. Can you see if the plug-in needs updating? If that doesn't work, you can try trashing preferences or a new project. Unfortunately, we don't have native support for BRAW yet, so you see things like this. If you have a sample clip, I can verify for you. Let me know.

Thanks,
Kevin

BlackMagic Plug-in is up to date. I figured it’s due to me scaling the clip
to a 2k frame size but not using “scale to frame size” option. However, if
I do further scaling to do for instance a punch-in or for a dolly move, the
preview window reflects that scaling. I’ve seen this glitch over 10 years
ago with other codecs they started to support, so perhaps Adobe will fix
this bug soon. Other than that, my system plays the 6.5k raw full res just
fine. No other issues.--
