I work on a podcast and usually take an audio clip that is mixed from our soundboard and line it up with our video track. For some reason the two get out of sync pretty quickly, but I have found that if I stretch the audio clip a bit it starts to line up better so I am thinking there are frames being dropped or something I am doing wrong with my settings. It sounds absolutely fine in the playback while editing in Premiere but when I export it the popping noise seems to echo/reverb after a person talks. I've noticed that if I razor the audio into smaller "chunks" or export smaller clips it goes away. What is causing this and how do I cut it out?

you might try sending it to audition which generally does a better job with this sort of thing...
