Hi there.

I'm having trouble with vr transitions. PP isn't rendering the transitio, but instead giving me the red bar with the error "This effect requires GPU acceleration". I understand that this means, I have to go into sequence settings and change my renderer to "Mercury Playback Engine GPU Accekleration (CUDA)...BUT, when I do that, I get a black screen in my program window.  Help

Windows 10, Up-to-Date Premiere Pro cc

Nearly undoudtedly, you have a game-ready driver for that GPU. The game-ready driver has been causing a whole host of problems for Premiere.

Go to the Nvidia driver support page, download and do a clean install of the latest Studio driver version. You may need to go back one version, but most of us are working fine on the latest.
