Simply activate sync in LrC. Everything in the cloud will download into the folders(s) nominated in preferences. Everything else will need to be imported from your local storage.

If you used the disk, the installation will be for Lr 6.0 whereas the final release was Lr 6.14 so you need to update the software.

Then click “Sign in to contact us” It should be possible to start an on-line chat with Adobe Support. Have your serial number to hand. Make clear that you are not looking for support for an older product but need a download link for the final version of Lr 6.

There are lots of text/font-type buttons in the graphics panel – see image below. After typing your text simply click on a button to see the effect.

The Organizer banner "Edit in Progress" is normal.
It disapppears when the file is closed (Cmd+W) in the Editor.

On High Sierra (not Catalina) simply go to utilities >> Adobe Installers and choose to uninstall PSE12.
There will be no effect on CS6. Both are entirely separate apps.

Did you ever register the product with Adobe? If so log-in to your account to check plans & purchases. Otherwise there is not much you can do without the serial number unless Best Buy can email you the details.

Try trashing the prefs for PSE 2020 (v.18)
Quit Elements
Launch Finder and go to your Username >>Library >> Preferences
Send the following files/folders to the bin:
Adobe Photoshop Elements 18 Paths
Adobe Photoshop Elements 18 Settings
com.adobe.Elements Organizer.18.plist
com.adobe.PhotoshopElements.plist
The library is hidden in recent versions of Mac OS. To get to your user library quickly, from the top menu in Finder, click “Go” whilst holding down the Option (Alt) key and your user Library will appear for you to choose.

One person on the U2U forum mentioned that exports are OK if
white balance is set to “As Shot”
Has anyone investigated if the color cast appears on images
with a custom WB compared with As Shot? I haven’t been able to test myself but wonder
if there is a clue here?

If you have PS you could try the gradient map to change color selectively. My demo is for Photoshop Elements but it’s the same method in full Photoshop.

I assume DPP4 means the Canon raw editing software that comes with the camera. This has no effect on Elements.

After clicking “Open Image” in the camera raw dialog your raw editing is saved e.g. when you save a tiff or jpeg including any further editing e.g. using layers, text etc. in the PSE Editor. If you ever open the raw file again, the slider settings should be remembered.

The earliest versions supporting your camera are Lr 2.3 or LrC 8.3 but you should get a subscription to the latest version. There is nothing to be gained from installing older versions which are no longer supported by Adobe.

Why not create a virtual copy in Lr and resize it with the crop tool? Then take it into the print module. Or are you wanting to use layers or other tools in PSE?

I think that info is quite a specific marker for Canon. I assume you are interested in magnification above 1:1 but lens info is usually only available in the Editor:
File >> File Info >> Camera Data
But I think it will only display the focal length.
You could try Exif Tool or Exif Tool GUI – see image below and following link.

I suggest you re-install.
After uninstalling, run The Adobe CC Cleaner tool, selecting PSE 2020 from the list of applications. That should get rid of all components.

Download and install the application again and activate/licence with your serial number.

You can get a look similar to chalk.
Open your image
Press Ctrl+J to duplicate the layer
Choose Filer >> Sketch >> Photocopy >> OK
Change the blend mode for Layer 1 from Normal to Overlay or Soft Light
N.B. in the previous step you can adjust lightness/darkness before clicking OK and changing the blend mode.
