I have not used the VSCO presets but it looks like they are presets for use in Adobe Camera Raw. If so there are three ways . The first and best option is to use an actual raw file from your camera. Just open it with Photoshop and it will automatically open in Adobe Camera Raw for you. The second way, if you do not have a raw file from your camera  and only have a jpeg,  is to use Bridge and after highlighting your image go to File - Open in Camera Raw The third way is to open the jpeg file, as you normally would in Photoshop, then go to Filter - Camera Raw Filter. Hi when you look at the history panel it treats a series of moves as a single change of state in history unless you use another tool in between, or click on another layer. You could , just as a workaround, hit BV which does cause it to record the move state at that point (it actually switches to the brush and immediately back to the move tool). I suspect it was done this way to avoid filling up the entire history in a couple of "moves" as a layer is nudged into place. Hi Rosalie No problem in asking questions. That is what the forum is all about. To create a glint I would use a white brush and paint a highlight in the eye. However as with any painting - do it on a new layer that way you don't permanently alter the image pixels, So  - starting here with a very flat looking eye 1. Got to Select and click on Deselect to ensure you don't have any selections still in place from previous steps 2. Click on the uppermost layer in the layers panel so that it is highlighted (mine is set up to highlight in blue - yours may be gray) 3. At the bottom of the layers panel click the symbol below to add a new layer 4. It is always a good idea to label your layers so - again in the layers panel click on the layer name and give it a name that makes sense e.g. eyes highlight 5. Now with that layer highlighted go to the brush tool, in the tool bar, and click on it 6. Click on the foreground color square at the bottom of the toolbar and when the color picker opens - set it to white 7. Now go to the options bar and click on the down arrow to open the brush size menu Set the brush size to a fairly small size (I've used 10, and hardness to 0%) 8. Now go to you image and paint in a highlight 9. If you wish to - you can go to the options bar and reduce the opacity of the brush and paint in a second highlight - this one a bit dimmer If you make a mistake just use the eraser tool to rub it out. Hi Rosalie The screenshots below apply to Photoshop CC2017 but other versions will be similar. However this is for Photoshop - not Elements which may be different Everything you need will be in the "Essentials" workspace which is the default if you have not changed it. 1. Open your photo in Photoshop 2. Select the circular marquee tool and click and drag an ellipse/circle round the pupil of one of the eyes The dotted lines (known as marching ants) show the area you have selected Do the same on the other eye - but hold down the Shift key whilst doing so. That way you will get an additional selection on the second eye rather than losing the first. 3. Go to your panels and click where it says "Adjustments" 4. This will open the adjustments panel and you need to click on the symbol below to add an Hue/Saturation adjustment layer 5. If you look in the layers panel you will see an adjustment layer has been added (the black next to it is a mask and will ensure that your adjustments will only be applied to the area you selected in step 2 6. Go to the properties panel and you will see the controls for that adjustment layer 7. Where it says "Master" click and from the menu change that to Reds (or Greens if you are getting rid of Green eye in pets) Now slide the control sliders. Hue will change the colour, saturation will change how vivid that colour looks and Lightness does what it says. Add a Hue and saturation layer and at the top set it to the current colour (in this case Reds for red-eye but pets it may be Greens for green-eye).
