After the change in colour, the landscape fits well with that theme, Greg.

I like the dark atmosphere in this, Jeff. Are those rockets? If so, you've added a whole arsenal there!

That's a very good match of the lighting direction on the rocks, the lander, and the astronaut, Trevor. I wonder if the earth should be partially in shadow?

You can have two synchronised windows showing the same document and use the zoom and rotate view tools independently on either of them. You can edit the actual document (as opposed to the view) in either window and other will update. Use Window > Arrange > New Window for xxxxdocumentnamexx Then Window >Arrange > Tile... as required If you want to independently edit both versions then you will need to duplicate the document Image > Duplicate and work on each. Without duplication you would end up with two sets of conflicting edits in the same document.

That's a very nice job covering the landscape with snow, Greg, and to do that on the finished image rather than at the texturing stage - well done. Dave

Hi , I've moved your post from the Photoshop forum to the Account, Payment and Plans forum which is more relevant to your issue. Note though that the forum is predominently answered by volunteers, we do not work for Adobe, and cannot access your account so these forums are not the place to request a refund. If you receive a private message requesting account information then be very careful. Scammers are known to do that posing as employees. Genuine employees that do answer in the forum are clearly identified by their Adobe badging. Dave

Which exact application are you trying to use to open your 3D model and what format is it (e.g. fbx, obj..etc).
Photoshop does not open 3D models. 3D was discontinued from Photoshop and v22.2 is the last version that worked with 3D. You mention Adobe Substance 3D but that is a group of applications. Which one are you using, or do you mean the Adobe Substance 3D Viewer Beta? If so, I can open a model created in Blender, exported as fbx, in that Beta viewer. Dave

In older versions (e.g. v13) the two were labelled 'Tile Generator' and 'Tile Generator Color'. They are now labelled 'Tile Generator Grayscale' and 'Tile Generator Color'. They are the same nodes, the additional label is just for clarity. Dave

Have you got any linked files in your document to package? If the images in your document are embedded then packaging is not required. Only if they have been placed as linked smart objects, are they actually outside of the document making packaging a necessary option.

Good sluething Jane! You're absolutely right, it is a render. I created the terrain in World Creator, exported it as a height map and used that as a displacement map in Blender. Textures came from Adobe Substance Painter, before lighting and rendering in Blender. I was going to add a bit of grass and foliage but decided to leave it barren. Dave

Thanks to all who took part in our previous challenges. For the last two challenges we started with small objects, first a spark plug then a dried clove, so I thought this week we should go large. Most artists like a blank canvas and today our canvas is a dry, rocky, and barren landscape. What you put in it, to tell us a story, is up to you.
The “rules”:
Use the starter image as at least part of your own image entry.
Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright, etc.
Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert. This is not just for our forum “regulars”.
There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off your skills, or bring a bit of humor and fun. Don't be shy, join in and have a go!
The starter image is made available for you to use in this forum challenge only.
To download the starter image, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun!

It is a bit strange and the optical effect does come and go. In reality, a better way is model it from scratch in a 3D app, it is just a rounded cylinder. The surface detail can be added to that cylinder, then light it accordingly and render it. Reversing the surface would simply be changing the height or normal map. Dave

An alternative.
Add a duplicate layer.
Use Filter >Stylise>Emboss
Set that layer to Luminosity Blend mode
Add a curves adjustment layer clipped to that new layer and adjust, along with the opacity of the filtered layer, to get the desired effect.

You are running a barely minimal spec. Your GPU is integrated which means it uses shared system RAM rather than having its own dedicated RAM. That RAM is only 8GB which is the bare minimum and therefore is lessened further by the need to share between system memory and GPU memory.
As an immediate step though, your RAM driver is 42 months old, so start by looking for the most recent driver for the Intel IRIS XE Graphics site, either from your PC manufacturer or from Intel.

I queried this after the previous update and Adobe replied that the updates are released across regions in phases. They update the release documentation after the last region receives the release. So I would expect an update in few days. Dave
