Yes, but that can't be THAT big of a problem, right? I mean, back when this processor was recent, they already worked with complex effects without huge problems🤔
If slower renders are a "problem", then yes, an 8th generation i7 is a problem.
If you run the After Effects "AEPulseBenchmark" project, I would guess that your 8th gen i7 does it in about 25 minutes while a 13th gen i7 will do it in about 5. For accurate results, make sure "Cache Frames while Idle" is disabled and purge the Cache. You can view results comminty users have posted here.
Also, open one of your projects on your 8th gen i7 and take a screenshot of the Composition Profiler. Then open the same project on a 13th or 14th gen i7 and compare it.
