One of your VST's or 3rd party plugins is causing this. You will need to go through a process of elimination and see which one. 1. Move all you VST's to of their original location to a folder on your desktop and run the PP project and see what happens Put each one back one at a time and eventually the culprit will appear 2. Older plugins won't make CC2019 crash. I have tested plugins all the way back from the original CC and all is stable. But if your VST's are all in order do the same for the plugins. I'm on a Mac so plugins are found in Library-->Application Support-->Adobe-->Common--"Version Number Do the same for the plugins as u did for the VST's and see what happens. Rush is for use predominantly with mobile devices. So if you have clients who arent too fussy about the end product use it. If you however want to output high quality end products use PP. Please note I am not saying Rush can't give you a quality product but Rush is mobile based compared to Premiere which allows hardware sets ups, multiple screens, etc etc. In a nutshell PP is a pro editing piece of software. Hi Chris. There are a number of factors that might be influencing this issue. It can stem from the OS you are on, VSTs installed, Premiere version (CC2019) seems to be having this issue. It is definitely a bug but one that u can troubleshoot pretty easily although not without considerable frustration. I have seen this on windows machines and not on Mac. I had the opportunity to completely wipe Windows 10, reinstall both OS (Win 7) and PP and presto the issue was gone (this was on a colleagues machine) I am not advocating you go to such extreme lengths but perhaps an uninstall of PP using Adobes Cleaner Tool, manually remove preferences files before u run the tool and a fresh install of PP. It really depends on what you will be using “filters“ for. By filters I assume you mean plugins. There are a handful of 3rd party plugins that I personally cannot live without but there are also a few solid scripts that have truly become very powerful. A few major plugins that every visual effects artist should have in their arsenal would be: 1. Trapcode Particular 2. Optical Flares 3. Element 3D (for those who don’t know C4D or Maya etc) 4. Is there any possibility for you to move these 3 i.e Disk Cache, Conformed Media Cache and Conformed Media Cache Database onto another fast drive like an external SSD. Its never ever a good idea having the scratch disk on the same drive as the OS. It will slow you down terribly See how mine are set up.
