F3, the default is zoom in to the mouse position. No need to hold down anything. Hold down ALT if you want to zoom to the center.   I do wish they would do something with the hand tool. Like most adobe apps, hold down spacebar to activate Hand. On key-up (spacebar) they can start playback if no hand dragging took place. Or at least a keyboard shortcut toggle, hold down the Hand key-toggle, release and it goes back to whatever tool was last selected. I do wish for more shortcut toggles. 😉 ... View more

I just looked for some MTS files and indeed they were not playing audio. I had installed the file from that other thread some time ago, and I just did now which immediatly brought back working audio on Media Player, PP, etc. Potplayer and Vlc played it regardless. ... View more

Thanks for the extra screen shot. Are you my brother 'Tom'? :-), you write a lot like he does. I was hoping you'd post similar timelines from one version to the other. Instead you have  one version showing 3 minutes of timeline and the other showing 4.5 hours. Maybe you can clean that up a bit. My most populated drive has ~ 400gb free, and my most populated drive I use in PP has 600gb free. So, you might gain some performance if you release some space on your drives. All my PP drives are m2. The lone ssd (400gb free) is used for backup, utilities, storage, etc. ... View more

Are you stuck on that version for a project? We're at 25.4 currently. You can't have them installed side by side. I saw really bad performance with Smooth Scroll, I don't like it much anyway, but for testing. It wasn't impossible to stop it, it just took some seconds.   I don't see any problems with the guide.
