Yep, same thing you see. If I look at them in Windows Photo viewer, they look very bad also. However, I have an excellent solution for you. Shutter Encoder! It's a great program all editors should have for file conversions. Mostly associated with Video files, (mostly we use it to convert Variable frame rate to constant) but it also has a quick selection for "Images", which defaults to .png. Is it 2025?  I actually keep an desktop icon link to that handy folder. Not just Luts go there, but also mogrts, and if you want to clear the cache manually, the folders are there also. I keep a .cmd (.bat) file there to quickly delete the cache each time an upgrade is installed, and that includeds the beta software which can be installed more than once a week. ... View more

As far as I can tell, it's really trashed. I can typically open a project using 7z. Here's how:      1) Right-Click the COPY of the project and from the 7-Zip menu select “Open Archive”      2) In 7-Zip there is one file same name as the project – Right-Click the file and select EDIT*   Step 2 does not work with your project, either can I simply extract the inner file. Having bloatware may be the key there, at least I would suspect that. I haven't purchased a built computer for at least this century! 🙂 And previously when I did, I always reinstalled Windows. You may consider that. The sooner the better obviously.   For now, make sure no utility apps are running like HWiNFO (though I've not had problems with that). But also FAN management software, and especially any Head Up software, showing temps, frame speed, fan speed, etc. I almost always use Windows drivers rather than say Intel, stuff like that. You'll be best off if you install a clean windows, then CC Desktop, then PP and see what you have. If you don't mind spending another $100.00 you can buy a 1tb drive, and replace the one in your system and install new Win on that. Then you can go back to your other drive if you don't like the clean install. After you can use one or the other as a media drive, etc. ... View more
